Essential Hair Extensions evolved from years of wasted money on bad hair and unprofessional hair extension technicians that didn't have a clue what they were doing yet happy to take our money. Unlike traditional hairdressing hair extensions are unique in nature and require extra skill to perfect the technique. After experiencing both the perfect install which was poorly cut and the poor install that was nicely cut we were personally frustrated. Then when we thought we had all the ingredients correct colour blending became an issue and that was the final straw. We knew it was time to take massive action and Essential Hair Extensions was born!

Essential Hair Extensions sourced the best technical training both here in Australia and overseas learning methods that are not yet commercially available in South Australia. Once mastering the techniques the challenge became sourcing consistent, high quality, tangle free hair that would out last others on the market as hair extensions can become quite costly. This was an extremely hard and exhausting process as most hair extensions on the market are coated with silicone to give that silky tangle free look. The problem is this silicone coating only lasts a few washes and the hair will become matted and unmanageable soon after. Over a two year period with multiple test subjects wearing and abuse testing hair from world wide sources, finally we found the perfect hair! Essential Hair Extensions hair lasts up to 12 months with no synthetic coatings that wear off. With the recommended care and styling products Essential Hair Extensions hair provides a silky straight texture perfect for curling in a variety of colours for a 100% match. Most importantly our hair should never mat or bunch.
