HAIR

Essential Hair Extensions hair is trialled for 12 months prior to being released to our clients. We do this to ensure our hair can with stand many months of wear and tear, heating, washing and daily challenges that dry out as hair extensions don't receive natural oils from the scalp. Other hair extensions on the market are 100% human remy hair, however this does not necessarily mean it is of good quality. Good hair must be sourced from the same country of origin meaning Chinese hair from China, Russian hair from Russia etc. Most hair on the market is Asian hair, the problem with this is that Asian hair can be from, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. By combining these different varieties ‘ Asian ‘ hair will flow and sit differently. This is why some inferior brands of hair extensions on the market mat and become unmanagable within days to weeks from being installed.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Essential Hair Extensions install using a variety of methods; these vary to cater for all hair types, textures and individual needs. The method preferred by Essential hair Extensions is the micro bead technique because of its gentle nature to the natural hair however many clients still prefer the old fusion method. Our micro bead technique will save you $2000 to $3000 every 12 to 18 months with the high quality hair that is re-used, maintained or reinstalled over and over.

Micro Bead Technique:

A tiny micro bead is slid over the existing natural hair with the hair extension in place and clamped. Every 10 to 12 weeks the client returns to the salon for a maintenance consultation and the micro beads are moved up closer to the scalp once again. This prevents any matting at the scalp and allows your hair extensions to be worn 24/7 for 6 to 12 months. Use of the right products and taking care of the hair will ensure its longevity.

Shrink Bead Technique:

This is an extremely new technique from overseas that is yet to hit Australia. This method is great for blondes who wish not to wear micro beads. This installation process is similar to the micro bead technique but the shrink bead is heated instead of clamped holding the hair extensions in place. The hair extensions need to be removed after 3 months then reinstalled. This is normally a 4 hour process. This hair is also reusable for up to 12 months.

Fusion:

This is one of the oldest methods but still very popular. Treated Extension hair is glued onto the clients natural hair strand by strand. This method lasts 12 to 14 weeks and the hair is best not reused.
